Battle of Yorktown resources for Georgia fourth grade social studies- I have found that integrating whenever and wherever possible is a great way to make sure that I am addressing all of the Common Core Standards and giving my students enough practice to reach mastery in each skill. With outdated textbooks and lack of resources, I created close reading passages and differentiated reading passages based on important Social Studies and Science concepts. From that, I’ve also realized that sometimes students need choices for how they practice or show mastery of content, and thus created this product. I have found that integrating whenever and wherever possible is a great way to make sure that I am addressing all of the Common Core Standards and giving my students enough practice to reach mastery in each skill. These three different information presentation options are designed so that each student in your classroom can access rich content on his or her reading level. Each topic includes reading comprehension activities so that you can meet each student at his or her level with the same rich content. It is up to you to choose which level you assign each student to use. The activity levels are indicated by a discreetly placed circle (low), triangle (mid), or square (high) in the top corner.
